Model Experience
Description
Model Experience is a Consulting methodology and Cerner’s collection of strategic recommendations for leveraging HealtheIntent®, Cerner Millennium®, CareAware® and Soarian Financials® solutions to optimize client workflows.
Role
From 2013-2017 I led all UX engagement with the Consulting and Model Experience organizations to provide a suite of 5 web applications that support clients from their initial implementation of Cerner products to go-live support and future scaling. This suite of web applications included: Workflow Designer, TestBuilder, TestTracker, the Model Experience website, and KPI Database.
I was responsible for:
Managing cross-functional relationships between Product Management, Consulting, Model Experience, and Engineering.
From initial concept to go-live support and backlog management, I integrated client and user feedback, business requirements, and usability findings within each application while strategizing future UX improvements for improved scalability.
Conducted user research and usability testing integration within quarterly release cycles.
Prioritized and advocated for UX enhancements within application backlogs.
Research
User research and usability testing were key throughout my engagement. I focused research planning and coordination to test stakeholder assumptions of user needs as well as usability testing of new feature releases. Without formal Human Factors engagement, I worked with the HF team to gain the knowledge and skills to execute on research plans, reviewing work to ensure bias was not introduced throughout the project engagement.
